Shipping policy

 

In stock jewelry will ship out from the studio within 1 - 5 business days. Rings that need to be resized, even if they are in-stock, may take up to 12 days to ship because of the extra sizing time.

Made to order and customized items will take between 2-6 weeks to be fully fabricated, for stones to be sourced, and items completed.

Custom designs that we make just for you, starting from scratch, typically take between 6-12 weeks, and depend on a number of variables, including how long the design and stone sourcing portions of the process takes.

Danielle Miller Jewelry will always keep you up to date on the progress of your order, and will be in touch if your piece appears to be taking more or less time than anticipated.

Orders will be shipped to the shipping address you indicate during checkout. It is your responsibility to verify that this address is current.

US Orders
Free domestic shipping applies to orders over $500. Free shipping is USPS First Class.   
Orders over $1000 are typically sent insured via UPS with signature required.  
Shipping within the US typically takes 2-7 business days for ground/first class, or 2-3 days priority.
If you need something shipped via Fedex or via another carrier, please let me know before purchasing. There will be additional fees for Fedex or other carrier services.

International Orders
Orders up to $400 value will be shipped USPS Priority Mail International, which includes tracking. Delivery Confirmation is included for Priority Mail in some countries, but not all.
International shipping takes about 10 business days minimum, often longer depending on the destination country. It is not uncommon for Customs to hold up a package for several days or even weeks as well.
All items over $250 are automatically shipped with insurance.

Items over $400 usually can be shipped either by Priority Mail Express International or International Priority mail, which includes some tracking along the way. Express shipping, when available, can be selected at an additional cost. Not all countries allow jewelry to be sent via express. In those cases, packages will be sent via priority mail.

USPS Express International is typically 3-5 days in major markets, however may take longer depending on the destination.

A packing slip reflecting the item prices and the shipping address is enclosed with EVERY order shipped, with absolutely no exceptions. Danielle Miller Jewelry will not commit mail fraud.

NOTE: There are countries that do not allow jewelry to be shipped! Please check the rules and regulations of your country's import policies BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER. Danielle Miller Jewlery will not be responsible for customs opening and/or seizing items that you have purchased because of such regulations, so always CHECK BEFORE PURCHASING.
NOTE: If you refuse an order and it is returned to me due to non-payment of customs and duties fees, a non-negotiable 30% restocking fee will be deducted from your store credit.

Lost in transit Items
Unfortunately, sometimes things happen during shipping (although it’s rare). In the instance that your package has been lost, Danielle Miller Jewelry will do all that we can to help you and the carrier to try to locate your item. Most items are shipped with insurance, but please be aware that there are waiting periods for insurance claims before any refunds can be issued. See claims filing timeline below*

Damaged during transit Items:
Please notify us immediately if your package arrives damaged. While we take every measure to properly package our shipments, there are rare occasions when damages occur in transit. Please email info@daniellemillerjewelry.com and we will work with you to resolve this matter, file an insurance claim, etc. See claims filing timeline below*

*Claims filing timelines:
For lost parcels you must wait 21 days for Domestic (US) and 45 days for International locations, except for Italy which requires 60 days.
Damage claims can be filed immediately.
Claims must be filed no later than 80 days from the shipment date.
Please contact Danielle Miller Jewelry if a package did not arrive within these time frames.
